What the Business Visitor Visa Actually Is
There is no separate "business visa" for short trips. Instead, the UK Standard Visitor visa permits a defined list of business activities within a stay of up to six months. Activities You Can Do
The permitted business activities are clearly defined. As a business visitor you can generally:

If your purpose is genuinely to work in the UK, the correct route is a sponsored work visa such as the Skilled Worker or Expansion Worker route, not a visitor visa. Trying to stretch a visitor visa to cover real work is a common and serious mistake.
Documents UAE Residents Usually Need
A strong business visitor application from the UAE typically includes a valid passport and Emirates ID, evidence of your employment and salary in the UAE, a letter from your employer confirming the purpose of the trip, an invitation from the UK company where relevant, your travel and accommodation plan, and bank statements showing you can fund the visit. The aim is to show clear ties to the UAE and a genuine, temporary business purpose.
How Long It Lasts and How to Apply
The Standard Visitor visa usually allows stays of up to six months per visit, and longer-validity visas of two, five or ten years exist for frequent travellers, though each individual stay is still capped at six months.
